Well that’s it, GAME and Gamestation have entered
Administration and therefore almost 5 years of my life have come to an end. As 277
stores close and 40% of the workers lose their jobs.
I worked with Gamestation Stevenage from June 2007 to
March 25th 2012. It was the
best years of my life. Yes it had its ups and downs, and yes there were times
when I felt “screwed” but that was just part of it. I worked with Games, with
great people, with amazing customers. I got to talk about what I love and I
would have never traded it for anything.
If it wasn’t for that job I wouldn’t have the friends
that I have today. Leigh, Dave, TJ, Paul, Emma, Phil and more as well as the
friends I met through them, all great people and great friends. Not to mention
the great customers who have become friends, thanks for your loyalty.
It is an end of an era for me and the company and I wish
all staff the best in their future endeavours and in finding a new job.
